Welcome to manchesterdrum, the online trading name of Manchester Drum Centre Limited. Our website terms and conditions are designed to comply with current UK legislation and ensure that our customers can shop online with confidence. Please read these conditions carefully before placing an order as they will form part of the contract to supply.

Pricing
All prices on this website are in £ sterling (GBP) inclusive of VAT but exclusive of delivery. The delivery charge (if any) will be shown during check out.
Prices are subject to change without notice. (This does not apply to orders already placed online and with payment authorised).

Stock Availability
We aim to keep the majority of popular products in stock and every effort is made to fulfil orders within 14 working days. However, not all the products that we list on this site are in stock all of the time. Additional and unavoidable delays may occur subject to product availability from the manufacturer/distributor. If we are unable to deliver an item to you within 14 working days, we will offer you the option of the nearest alternative or cancellation of part or full order. Any Special Order item which has been specifically ordered to your requirements cannot be cancelled even if delivery will take longer than 14 working days.

Delivery
Our delivery charges apply to mainland UK addresses only. For Scottish Highlands or any offshore delivery, please enquire before ordering.
Most deliveries will need to be signed for by an adult at the address on the order. The delivery company cannot comply with requests such as ‘leave in the porch’ , ‘put in the shed’ or leave with neighbour etc. For security reasons we may insist that certain deliveries, e.g. of high value goods, be delivered to the cardholders registered address only. We will notify you if this is the case.
When you receive a delivery, please check the packaging immediately and if it appears damaged write ‘damaged’ alongside your signature on the courier’s paperwork. Check the contents as soon as possible and report any missing or damaged items to us within 48 hours by ‘phoning 0161 872 9777. Responsibility for ownership and care of the goods passes to the purchaser once they have been delivered.

Accuracy of Content
We try very hard not to be misleading. All product descriptions are made in good faith and are often taken from the manufacturer’s own claims for that product. Photographs are used for illustration purposes only and should be viewed together with descriptions and disclaimers before making a purchase. It is the description that takes precedence in forming the contract of sale. For example, the ‘photo may show a snare drum with a drum kit but the description will state whether or not it is included.

Privacy Policy
We respect your privacy. Personal information is collected solely for the purpose of completing your order and providing service and support to you. We will ask for your name, e-mail address, phone number and home address. Any information you provide is protected and will not be sold, traded or given to any third party.
By placing an order through the website your contact details are automatically entered onto our marketing database so we can keep you informed of special offers and drum clinics etc. We only send information we think will be of interest and you are able to unsubscribe at any time.

Secure Payment
Our website uses state of the art credit and debit card processing systems which fully comply with all the latest Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS). Manchester Drum Centre Limited does not hold any of your card details.

Fraud Prevention
As an extra safeguard we may wish to verify the purchaser’s identity, particularly with large or unusual purchases, to ensure it is the genuine cardholder placing the order. This is for your protection as well as ours.

Returns Policy – Unwanted Goods
We want you to be delighted every time you shop with us, but if for any reason you are unhappy with a product, you can return it for exchange or refund within 14 days, as long as it is unused and still in it’s original sealed packaging.
To request a refund, you must notify us (in writing, by telephone or by email) within 14 days of receiving the item. Refunds will be credited to the card which was originally used, but only when returned goods have been received and checked by us to ensure they are in a new and re-saleable condition. Any free gifts that were with a product must also be included. You must bear the cost of returning unwanted items to us – we recommend you use a secure delivery method as we cannot be held responsible for goods lost or damaged in transit. If returned goods are found to be unfit for resale as new, a deduction will be made to cover refurbishment costs. Note that only the value of the returned goods will be refunded - original shipping costs will not be refunded. You can also return goods to the store in person.
Exceptions - Some items cannot be returned for hygiene reasons. All microphones, earphones, earplugs and any other items that touch your mouth, your nose, or inner ear cannot be returned once opened, due to health laws (unless faulty). Special order goods (e.g. ordered to your specification or at your special request) cannot be returned, exchanged or refunded.

Returns Policy - Faulty Goods
Most products carry a manufacturer’s guarantee against faulty workmanship or materials for a period of 12 months or more, however this does not include drumsticks or drumheads which due to their usage can be considered ‘consumables’.
Sometimes the problem may be simple and we can advise you how to rectify it yourselves, over the ’phone or via email. For more serious issues we may need to return the product to the manufacturer or distributor. It is their decision whether a repair or replacement is appropriate.
In the case of broken cymbals, a detailed examination will need to be carried out by the manufacturer or their agents (not Manchester Drum Centre Limited) to establish whether there is a manufacturing fault or if the cymbal has been incorrectly used. This takes time but we will inform you of their decision as soon as possible.
If your item is still under warranty, we will bear the costs of you sending the goods back to us, for repair or replacement, and subsequently returning to you. If your item is outside its warranty period, you will have to bear all costs.
In all cases we must be informed of a fault via ‘phone or email, before you return any item. We will then issue a returns number and instructions how to proceed.
Please note that this policy is invalidated if the fault is due to alterations, misuse or unauthorised repair by the customer.

Warranties
Most items sold in the UK come with a one or two year warranty. The main exceptions to this are ‘consumable’ items such as drum sticks, beaters, drum heads (skins) etc. . These items will only carry a warranty against manufacturing defects. If you detect a fault, you should contact us immediately as these products can not be replaced once they have been used.

Refunds
Refunds can only be made via the original payment method used when purchasing them. The amount of the refund will reflect any deductions for carriage or restocking charge where appropriate (please see Returns Policies above).

In all cases, we will make the refund within 24 hours of us receiving the returned goods, but please allow around 5 working days for it to appear in your bank account or on your credit card statement. This is due to the time it takes for the banking process and is outside of Manchester Drum Centre’s control.

The Environment
Manchester Drum Centre Limited take their responsibility for the environment very seriously and ensures that wherever possible all cardboard and plastics etc. used in packaging are recycled.
